Dear Parents,

Please take a look at our pictures on the website of the class completing a challenging Science investigation on Friday. They were investigating how sound travels over a distance. Using sound measuring websites they recorded the volume of sound from a sound source, measuring again every 5 meters then recording these results on a line graph. They were surprised to discover that we could never achieve less than 50 db of sound however far away we went from the source as it is never truly silent outside, there was always a new sound to take its place.

Could I also request that the children bring a bag or book bag to school tomorrow to help them tidy their draws ready for their Transition day on Tuesday? They may have a few things to bring home but hopefully not much. Reports are also going home tomorrow.
