School Meals

Our school meals are extremely good and children are encouraged to try everything. We expect politeness and good table manners from all children, whether eating school meals or sandwiches.

From 22nd April 2025, our school meals will be provided by Aspens, our new catering provider.  Their website can be found at:  https://www.aspens-services.co.uk

Our school meals cost £2.65 per day per child. Dinner money is collected via Parent Pay (our online payment system). 

Free School Meals – Check Your Eligibility

The protection for some Free School Meals (FSM) claims ended July 2026. To make sure your child does not lose their entitlement, we encourage all parents/carers to check their eligibility, even if your child currently receives free school meals.

Checking is quick and easy. Once your details have been registered, Derbyshire County Council will automatically check your eligibility each month. If you become eligible, the school will be notified and your child will receive free school meals.

Currently, all Infant children (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) are entitled to a school meal free of charge under the Universal Free School Meals scheme.
