Twycross Zoo 2025
On Wednesday 11th June 2025, Mr James and Miss Patton took a group of children to Twycross Zoo for the day, thanks to Alfreton Rotary Club. Two children were selected from each class as behaviour champions to reward excellent behaviour throughout the year. They demonstrated the same high standards of behaviour during the trip and represented the school brilliantly. The Alfreton Rotary Club commented on how well mannered and respectful the children were. We are so proud of you all and you should be very proud of yourselves too!
KS2 Colour Run - 2025
To celebrate the end of SATs week for our year 6 pupils, all key stage two pupils took part in a colour run.
The event was fantastic & very colourful! It was a truly brilliant way to end the week.
Community week 2025
Thank you to all our families who donated items for local food pantries, the children came in non uniform & donated something for the food bank. Our pupils have spent the week litter picking and working collaboratively to make our community even better.
Family Celebration Dinner 2025
We really enjoyed seeing all of the families who came to our Celebration Dinner!
World Book Day 2025
We had an amazing world book day with so many fantastic costumes, a winning character was selected from each class, but everyone won as we all enjoyed book related activities through the day.
Winter Fayre & Enterprise 2024
The Friends of Stonebroom managed to raise over £900 at the winter fayre which was matched by the Children's DT enterprise initiatives, also raising an amazing £900!
Spooky Walk October 2024
A huge thank you to everyone that walked, ran and raised funds for our Spooky Sponsored Walk. Our amazing school Community raised just over £2500! Which is an incredible amount, that will go into our Enrichment fund, this money pays for Curriculum extras that we wouldn't ordinarily be able to do. These lucky children won the sponsor form prize draw.
