We know that England is a country in the United Kingdom and London is a capital city.
We are really enjoying learning all about the United Kingdom in our Geography lessons. This afternoon we learnt what a capital city was and spent the afternoon focusing on London, the capital city of England. We got very busy and had lots of fun doing jobs such as building London city with the London figures, trying to build a structure as high as Big Ben, drawing portraits of King Charles, playing London I spy and we even got to eat scones complete with cream and jam.
