We hope you have had a wonderful start to the holidays and that the children are enjoying the festive season.

We are sharing our information for Spring 1 so that you have time to read through it at your leisure. Our big question next term will be “Is everyone afraid of the dark?” and our subject driver will be Science, where the children will be learning all about the seasons.

A few notices:

• PE will continue to take place on Tuesdays. From next term, children should come to school wearing their PE kits on Tuesdays, which will allow us more teaching time for PE.

• Pre-learning tasks are due on Monday 12th January. Children should bring in a season selfie along with a sentence explaining how the picture shows that season. For example, a photo from an autumn walk with the sentence: “I know it is autumn because there are orange leaves on the floor.”

• Our next parent workshop will take place on Wednesday 4th February in the morning. Further details will follow, but we wanted to share the date in advance.
