Lighthouse and Floating STEM task.
For our latest Big Question about Grace Darling, pupils were asked to use their engineering skills and make a lighthouse or something that floats. We had some super lighthouses, even a few with working lights! We also had a fleet of boats and floating craft. One of our clever meerkats made a boat that moved under elastic band power - excellent engineering! We used our water container and checked if they could float. They all passed the floating test! Well done to all pupils and parents who completed the task. It was a super start to our History question!
