We have been exploring the book The Disgusting Sandwich by Gareth Edwards in our English lessons and last week we made our own yucky snacks. The pupils did a great job of making some truly revolting looking sandwiches and were relieved when they were told they didn't actually have to eat them. We are now busy writing some great instructions about making disgusting sandwiches. Don't take a look if you are feeling a bit queasy - they might make you sick! Our final Reading Buddy homework for this term was handed out today. Pupils need to complete this by Friday to qualify for the whole treat. On Friday pupils can bring in a game or toy to play with during our treat slot in the afternoon. No electronics or expensive toys please. If there is any outstanding homework to be completed, pupils will need to do this before joining in.
