We hope you are all having a lovely break.

We would like to share our planning, vocabulary etc. for next term so you can view it at your leisure (please follow the link below). Our big question next term is, 'Who would have lived in a medieval castle?' This will have a history focus and we have lots of exciting learning planned to bring the topic to life. 

Please put the following dates in your calendar:

• Wednesday 29th April- Year 1 medieval day. Children can come to school dressed as a medieval character.
• Tuesday 5th May- clay castle parent workshop 9.05am in the school hall.
• Wednesday 20th May- class trip to Tamworth castle, please make sure you have paid for this on Parent Pay.

PE will now take place on Mondays- children will need to come dressed in their PE kits the first day back. We are very lucky to have Chesterfield Tennis coaches teaching us tennis for the term.

We hope you enjoy the rest of the holidays and we look forward to seeing you back in school on Monday 13th April.
