Sheep - Summer 221 May 2026 (by Grace Lee (Sheep23)) |
Hello,
If you follow the link it will take you to all the information needed for next term. Our next Big Question is focused on space, 'Have I got what it takes to be an astronaut?' Each child took home a paper copy of the Knowledge Organiser and a Wow Moment letter yesterday. On the Knowledge Organiser you will find information regarding the pre-learning task.
We have a really exciting term ahead -
A reminder we will be visiting Yorkshire Wildlife Park on Wednesday 3rd of June. Please make sure your child is wearing comfortable shoes and socks. We will be doing lots of walking during the day, so no sandals. Children will be expected to carry their own lunch bag/ belongings around with them. I would suggest a back pack would be the easiest option for them. If they are bringing their own pack lunch, lightweight packaging that can be disposed of once eaten would be the best. Please remember to pack them with a water bottle. We will be taking school blue hats.
A reminder that as we go into the warmer months every child should bring their own water bottle containing water, every day to school.
We have been very fortunate to have been given a dance class session every Thursday afternoon during Summer 2. This is with an external company. We will continue to have normal P.E. lessons on a Wednesday morning alongside these sessions. Can P.E. kits be returned to school by the 3rd of June please.
Finally, this week has been Arts Week. We have had lots of different TAs from across school come to spend the morning with us as cover for Miss Walton. They have all commented on how fantastic the children in receptions behaviour was. They were very impressed! So well done Sheep - you should be very proud.
Have a lovely week off.
