Year 6 - Summer Term
Hi all, I hope the children have all had a wonderful break. It's been a lovely hot week off weather wise. I hope the children are learning their lines ready for their performance and their final half term at Stonebroom. We have an exciting few weeks planned with plenty of singing and play practice but also maths and english to continue.
Our big question this half term is:
How does energy get from our dinner plates to our muscles?
This science based question is a great opportunity to learn more about the human body as is the the PHSE unit which is 'Changing Me,' this unit is concerned with changes to the children's bodies has they move towards their teenage years.
PE will now take place on Monday afternoons and will be a tennis unit run by an external sports specialist.
Please take a look at this terms planning ect on our class page on the website.
