Sorting Unusual Vertebrates

We researched lots of unusual looking vertebrates (creatures with backbones - spines) at home and brought in lots of pictures. Then we sorted them into the 5 main groups of vertebrates. Here are our results. Wow - there are so many wonderful creatures in the world!

Classification of Living Things

This week in Science, we learnt about lots of different living things and how we could sort them in different ways, according to their features. We played a P4C game of 'Would you rather?' to  warm up and reason out our ideas and then had a go at classifying living things into different groups. We used some excellent scientific language.
